Metall frame sculpting

This technology basing in metal frame technology starts with the creation of specialised metal forms, which serve as the skeleton for the stained glass. These forms are crafted using our proprietary “edge” technique, ensuring precise angles and durability. Once these metal forms are completed, they are bent to the required radius, tailored to the specific design of each piece.

The glass elements are then kiln-fired to match the curvature of the metal framework. This ensures a perfect fit and seamless integration of glass and metal. The assembly process involves placing the kiln-fired glass into the pre-formed metal frame, creating a robust and aesthetically stunning piece. Nearly all our creations feature integrated electrical wiring, allowing for the installation of lighting elements. This capability enhances the visual impact, making the artwork come alive with illumination. These metal-framed pieces are typically much stronger and heavier than traditional stained glass works. During the design phase, we can incorporate connections for installation in various desired locations, including ceilings, floors, or walls. The entire process, from initial design to final implementation, generally takes around 1.5 months
