Abstract stained glass through light, color, and form
Chaos striving for symmetry. Architectural discovery through a personal psychological method focused on unconscious mechanisms of form generation. Fusing classical Gothic aesthetics and abstract art into a new, dynamic visual language through colored glass.
Redefining stained glass through contemporary abstraction
The abstract and contemporary approach to the use of glass and color departs from the traditional Christian symbolism of stained glass, which usually features concrete depictions of saints, biblical scenes, or symbols. However, even in this abstract form, the exploration of potential symbolism and meanings through an innovative approach to symbolism remains relevant.
Contemporary studies of stained glass art allow us to analyze the impact of abstraction on perception and interpretation. Changing styles and techniques can have an impact on aesthetic and spiritual perception, offering new forms to be integrated into contemporary art and architecture.
Of particular importance in abstract stained glass is the viewer's personal immersion in the work. Due to the open-ended nature of abstraction, each viewer can find their own symbols, archetypes or interpretations within it, making each viewing a unique experience.
These personal revelations and interactions enrich the emotional and intellectual sides of perception, making the stained glass not just an object of observation, but an active participant in a dialog with the viewer.

Architecture of Light: Form and Reflections of Reality
Exhibition exploring the interplay between light and colored glass, which together create a visually-optical architecture. Features six kinetic sculptures from summer 2024 utilizing refraction, light reflection, and diffraction. 35 works across 7 halls, uniting static and kinetic sculptures plus stained-glass installations.

L'Art et ses Sources d'Inspiration
Exposition de Peinture & Dessin — Journées portes ouvertes de printemps 2024. Painting and drawing exploring the sources of artistic inspiration. Vladimir Kouptsov Privalov dit Arthemii.

Encrypted Subconscious
Research on interactions between viewers and neuroArt. Part of ongoing research on human interaction with artificial intelligence and the search for subconsciousness in machines. Participants documented observations below artworks — noticed symbols, architecture, situations, and archetypes. Data was fed to AI neural networks to train machine interpretation skills through human perception examples.

Enter the Void
A captivating showcase of colored glass sculptures demonstrating a masterful fusion of Gothic and futuristic aesthetics. The historical ambiance of the mansion perfectly complemented the modern designs of the glass artworks. Each piece, through its placement and the play of light, narrated a story of its own, casting vibrant colors and intriguing shadows that animated the grand old spaces. Live ambient and experimental music shows throughout the exhibition.

Club der Visionäre — Berlin
A vibrant and futuristic glass sculpture installation designed to reflect the dynamic energy and eclectic spirit of the venue. Each piece of colored glass is meticulously crafted to capture and play with natural and artificial lights. As sunlight streams through during the day, the installation casts a mosaic of vivid, dancing colors across the wooden beams. By night, the pieces glow under the club's lights, creating a flowing river of color that mirrors the famous waterfront setting.

Craftsmanship & Techniques
Four distinct approaches to working with colored glass — from traditional Tiffany technique to experimental shadow prism installations.
Tiffany Vitrage
The copper foil method perfected by Louis Comfort Tiffany. The process begins with detailed drawings divided into individual pieces. Colored glass sheets are chosen, traced, and cut precisely. Each piece is wrapped with adhesive copper foil, then assembled and soldered with tin-lead solder. Works (60×90 cm or 80×120 cm) are installed in custom light boxes with LED backlighting — warm colours create comfort and joy, cooler colors induce calm and contemplation.

Falling Shadows
Shadow prism technology designed for easy transport and quick installation. Specially prepared glass elements are assembled on-site to create sculptures functioning as prisms. When illuminated, the glass refracts light to cast mesmerizing patterns of light and shadow onto surrounding surfaces. Setup can be completed within days before the event — approximately 2-3 hours per installation. Ideal for temporary exhibitions and immersive environments.

Metal Frame Sculpting
Specialized metal forms serve as the skeleton for stained glass, crafted using a proprietary "edge" technique for precise angles and durability. Metal forms are bent to the required radius for each design. Glass elements are kiln-fired to match the metal framework's curvature. Nearly all creations feature integrated electrical wiring for lighting elements. Can be installed on ceilings, floors, or walls. Approximately 1.5 months from initial design to final implementation.

Glass Parts Sculpting
Sculptures constructed from numerous glass elements meticulously soldered together. A metallic frame is crafted first, incorporating electrical wiring for lighting fixtures. Glass pieces are framed within a special edging for interconnection. These sculptures embrace the freedom of artistic expression — glass placement follows creative intuition rather than rigid plans. Pieces exhibit chaotic forms striving toward symmetry, capturing a dynamic blend of structure and spontaneity.

Inside the studio
A vaulted basement filled with hundreds of glass sheets in every shade — the quiet workshop where every sculpture begins. Stacks of coloured glass, lead came, soldering tools and cardboard boxes of off-cuts: the raw material of light, organised and waiting.

Glass off-cuts & small forms
A series of small one-of-a-kind objects assembled from leftover stained-glass shapes — soldered, polished and turned into hand-sized pieces. Each fragment carries the same colour and structure as the larger sculptures, but in a form you can hold.

Due to the open-ended nature of abstraction, each viewer can find their own symbols, archetypes or interpretations within it, making each viewing a unique experience.
The art of immersion
Three pillars of artistic practice that guide every work and define the relationship between artwork and viewer.
Personal Immersion
Each viewer finds their own symbols, archetypes, and interpretations within the abstract work. Every encounter is unique and deeply personal. The artwork becomes a mirror of the viewer's inner world — a space of self-reflection and contemplative absorption.
Abstract Innovation
Departing from traditional concrete depictions opens new paths of exploration through innovative approaches to color, light, and geometric abstraction. Stained glass becomes an experimental platform where new visual languages are explored and developed.
Spiritual Perception
Changing styles and techniques influence aesthetic and spiritual perception, offering new forms for integration into contemporary art and architecture. Glass becomes a medium between light consciousness and spatial experience.
